11 Feb 2007 - Sunday :: Quality Time at Home
Sunday, February 11, 2007
At last, managed to spend sometime at home to update my blog and upload some picture which i took at BBK. Had a great time, shopping and eating. This time round, most of the time was eating at roadside stalls. Me and dar decided to try the authentic roadside food, and it was really different and so much cheaper.

Tried their Thai noodle, pork/chicken/beef balls, sausages, satay (with much more meat as compared w Spore), pork rice (gravy is so much better than Spore) etc. Every thing was so much cheaper and more delicious, so making use of the fact that we are there, we ate more roadside stalls than in restaurants. We stil went to restaurants to enjoy the food too, went to Fuji Japanese Restaurant, Sizzler, The Pizza Company. My fav place has got to be the Grand Canyon Coffee. Hot/ice blended mocha, Latte: With a cup at hand while shopping, shiok!! Haha.

Went for spa at Leyana Spa, me and dar went for Oriental Thai Massage with Hot Compress, 2hrs and 10 mins, 1700BHT in total. Had 50% discount as I participated in their lucky draw and won "50% discount for treatment" prize. The room where we had our massage was beautiful and spacious. we had complimentary transport in a tuk-tuk from the BTS to the spa and back to the BTS. Overall experience, great and felt so like a VIP.

We also went for a 2 hr foot massage just beside our hotel on the last day, few hours before our departure.

I guess pictures speaks louder than words and I let the picture do the talking.
