Chilling with my best friend with pizza, fried hot chicken and glass of Hoegaarden was like the perfect Friday that I have been looking for. She brought me to
Ice Cold Beerwhich sits nicely at the farthest end of Emerald Hill. A spot where you can see quite a few foreigners would hang out for a nice cold beer or catching up with friends and sometimes with a pinch of work talk.
One bad thing about it was that the music level was kinda loud, and we had to literally shout at each other to really hear what we were talking, and to add it on, as the night progresses more people were arriving, the noise level was definitely getting higher with the music.
It has been sometime since we last met up, she's busy with work and school assignments and me, just work. I guess i should start something about my studying plan; am thinking of doing MBA or maybe CFA. Since most of us at work are also considering taking up either one, its always good to have a study partner.
I guess first thing first, get the GMAT book and start practicing or register for the CFA course to get the book and start reading.
