29 December 2006 - Friday :: Last week of 2006
Friday, December 29, 2006
It's the last week of 2006 and 2007 is just round the corner, time sure flies by past, the usual statement that I would say. Another year of work and exciting programmes and activities are bound to happen and Iam sure i have no idea what is to be installed for me and eveyone around me. work will start next year, i guess my system will start full gear on 3rd Jan 07. Work this last week has been slow and quiet, there's not much people around in the office at all. Took leave since Thurs and planned to rest well till next Tuesday where come 3rd Jan 07, it's time to start work and the usual programming and support will resume.
Anyways, received my 1st Coach wristlet. Sister-in-law bought for me while she was in the US, and it's really pretty. Haha, my first Coach product and it was wrapped so nicely that i didnt want to spoil the wrapper.

Monday, December 25, 2006
Took a couple of pictures with a few Christmas trees at Bugis, and it was really fun to see the ornaments and lighting and people trying hard to get a good picture of the tree.
Also had a relaxing time at Intercontinental Hotel, stayed for just 1 night in the ShopHouse Room which we got it upgraded from Deluxe Room. It was big! 2 queen sized bed in the room!!
Just watched cable and bubbled-soaked myself practically most of the time. And Dar enjoyed his night with continuous soccer that on cable. Celebrated Xmas early with champange and cable and more soccer...

The 1.5 Million Dollar Diamond Tree, studded with diamond practically on every branch

Enjoying ourselves with picture taking at Intercontinental

15 December 2006 - Saturday :: Shopping for Christmas
Saturday, December 16, 2006
Had been window shopping and some of the items have definitely caught my eye, with huge discounts posters that is hung in the display window, i'am always drawn to enter the shop and then make purchases for my products. BUT the thought of going to BBk soon to shop for cheaper and not found in Spore stuffs just makes me wish that the date to go BBK will just come quicker!!!
Shoes, wallet are my list of want to buy list for this Xmas. Saw some nice ones at C&K, not much of a sale was going on anyways, so decided to wait for the sale to come. Braun Buffel has this really nice hot, sizzling, red wallet that i wanted so badly to buy. Hmm will consider again, up till i dream about the wallet, then it's a sign for me to buy it. *giggles*
Finally had finished most of the job that iam supposed to do for my new home. Bought most of the necessary items for the house: furnitures, electrical appliances, cutlery etc. Realise that i have been making trips to Ikea most of the time to search for home stuffs, they always have all the nice looking cutlery and kitchen items.
Guess my home will be ready for rental on the last week of Xmas and then it's time to save up for my AD and reno. Time sure past by so quickly.
Home is still a little messy, have not finished clearing some unecessary items yet.

Having Fun in the Office::
The Xmas committee people in my office are busy preparing the Xmas Party on the 22 Dec 06. One of the present is a super huge Soft toy Bear. So me and Miss YuanYuan took some last shots with the bear, in good memory before this cute bear is won by a colleague in our dept.

Xmas Tree is all set up, theme: Silver and Purple. It'a a nice and simple tree, standing tall in front of the entrance of our level. Once you enter, you are immediately greeted by the rotating bright litted tree. The spirit of Xmas is sure to stay for some time....

8 December 2006 - Friday :: 1 week after being married
Friday, December 08, 2006
Finally had the time to sit down and upload photos from my cd to the computer and to my blog. It has been a busy week, with work to complete and just had Team Building today with my colleagues at Sentosa.
It was fun and enriching, getting to know each other better and also to know the other staffs better as i seldom have the chance to commnicate with them!
But the day ended up with a tired body and almost sore throat; with all the shouting of encouragement for team members and cheering the others on! Today's event just bring back memories of Orientation Camp during NTU days.
Other than that, it has been 1 week since my ROM on 1 Dec 06. With this extra status, iam feeling as usual, that is happy that iam spending more time with hubby. And it's also weird to address him as husband, as the usual would be boyfriend. Guess it will take time to get used to certain terms. Hehe...
Have uploaded a few pics, took at least 300 odd pics and here are some of the nicer shots.

Didnt take much photos during the dinner buffet at Riverview Hotel, only managed to take 1 photo with my best friend who couldnt make it to the solemnization due to work issues. At least i took 1 with her!! Hehe. The food was good, just that after 2 rounds were served, most of us were full!! guess the food was good such that it filled our stomachs quickly..

1 December 2006 - Friday :: ROM

Woke up with excitement and a little butterflies in my stomach. Gan Cheong and afraid that i will blunder during the ceremony. Had to wake up early to reach the bridal studio to do my makeup, hairstyle and getting the dress.
Other than the excitment and eagerness and being gan cheong, i had a lovely surprise from Millie! She's also a client of digio and she came down to accompany me for a little while during her lunch break. She bought muffins, really thoughtful, thanks millie. Chatted with her since it was my first time meeting her, and she came to see how the makeup was done,i guess she can also prepare herself on her big day!
Enjoyed her company for about 45 mins, and then she was back to her nearby office.

Well, was not really impressed with digio actually. I didnt get any ampule or fake eyelashes from them and the MUA asked me to pay an extra $25 for hair setting, basically just to curl my hair.
I think i was "cheated" in a way, i should have argued my way and ask why i should have paid. Thus, i have this very bad impression from bridal studios, they are always out there to "eat" us up. So for my traditional wedding, will be sourcing my own MUA and other necessary stuffs, only getting the gowns and PS from a bridal studio. Furthermore,also had trouble asking to alter the size of the dress. They kept saying that it cannot be altered, and kept wanting me to change to another dress from their rack at their outlet. But the designs are all disgusting ugly. If i really want to change, i would have to go to Tampines, find another dress again. THE WHOLE DAMN PROCESS starts again. So no choice had to wear the pink dress, which had a little problem at the back as the waist area, there was an uneven part of clothe at the back which actually made it ugly.
So ladies out there, you must be very particular of the design and the dress. It must fit you 100% on your body, kind of regret not demanding them to alter it perfectly. But i have learnt my lesson, will be very particular next time round.
