Went to HDB hub to just have a look at the newly launch project, TreeTops@Punggol. Just want to see what's so nice about this eco-precinct BTO environmental friendly flats, that has so much news and ads printed in the papers.

What i can say is that i totally love the 5 Room Loft Design; a penthouse, 2 storey apartment, comes with a big balcony that you can enjoy the mornings with coffee & paper or have a nice tan in the afternoon when the sun is blaring hot.

This BTO project has drawn so many applications though it opened a few days ago. For those who wants to know more details, be sure to check out the HDB website.

Dar and I also went to the HDB Gallery to look at how the 4 and 5 room flats were designed and renovated, just to get some inspirations and ideas for renovating our house next time. Here are some of the designs that i like...

Had a wonderful night of salad, calamari, spaghetti and a nice glass of wine with Chelle and Sand at Modesto's@VivoCity. The food was great and adding with the company; Fabulous.

It has been a great time catching up with the gals, suddenly just miss the time during JC where we could hang out, talk, go shopping together and 'bitch' around. Remember where we used to write post cards and letters to each other in school? Writing to each other during lesson time was the most common thing I did,so eagerly to reply the letter to each other. *the good old days...*

For now, all we talked about was our plans for the future. Upcoming wedding dinner for Chelle, who is busy preparing for her big day, her reno for her house which she has not received the keys yet. Cant wait to see your 38th storey unit, cant believe that you will be staying so high! Iam sure the view will be great at night, image all the fireworks you can see whenever there is an event. JUST SPECTACULAR

But most importantly, all the best in waiting for the lifts in the mornings...

Once again, thanks so much for dinner & the company. Since we will be rotating on the bill payment scheme, iam sure we will be able to have more meet-ups!! *grinz*

28 March 2007 - Wednesday :: A week of Lessons

Have been sent to Raffles Place to learn new ABAP skills, and this lasts for the whole week. So far it has been a a very fruit-full course, which i think i will need to use the knowledge for my work. 1 week of lessons has reminded me of the days back in NTU, where I had to go for lessons for the whole day, and how i realise i miss studying. (Without the exams......)

But the whole week of course has caused lots of work being left not settled in office, by next week, iam sure there will be lots of work to do just by judging of the email i have been receiving....

On a brighter side:
So looking forward to next week where i will be going to Genting, it has been more than 10 years since i last went there. Still remembered that i couldnt enter the casino, so it was me and brother who went to the playground to play while mummy went in to have fun for a while.
Wonder how is the place like now......

At last, managed to buy the Nokia N80IE phone that i have been eyeing for sometime. Got it under contract for $168 with phone trade-in of $150 and 3G phone discount of $120. Felt it was a good deal, luckily I took an extra step to see the ad that was been displayed at the shop and questioned of the reduced price, if not I wouldn't know that there is a $120 discount for 3G phone for the plan I signed up.

Got mine in Black, i think it's sleek and stylish; WiFi, 3G ,Bluetooth, FM radio, 3MP camera - Dual camera and Music Player. More than enough for me for a phone.

The weekend will be busy configuring my phone and exploring the different functions. And also finding websites to change the themes and download any softwares to install on phone!!

Had already planned to go to the IT Show at Suntec City, so we took bus to avoid the no car parking issue and jams on the road. However, the day was so infuriatingly hot that we detoured and went to eat Wanton Mee and my fav Selegie Soya Bean.

Thus we didnt check out any new gadgets or travel packages, not even squeezing with the thousands of people at Suntec. Had thought that we could check out the prices to go to Genting. Have planned to go during the 1st week of April, just a short trip for 3D2N since it has been ages since i last went there.

Guess we just have to pop by any tour agencies in Chinatown to buy coach tickets and accommodation. Simple and fast process.

Back to the weather, it was real damn freaking hot! Even the bus that we took to Suntec was not cool at all. The Hot, Humid and slow ride really got into me in the afternoon. When will this hot weather be over?!!

But i must admit, sun tanning in this hot weather is great. Tan in the sun for a few minutes, then splash to the pool for a cool dip. Hmmm, maybe this should be the iternary for Saturdays with hubby.

Had a great time during the IS Function on friday, 2 March 07. Theme was Retro-Lution, and me and the committee members esp the girls dressed ourselves up in poka-dots dresses. Venue was at DragonGate Restaurant, HarbourFront Centre. This time round, we didnt hold it in a hotel, though to the tight budget and the main point is to get good & attractive prizes.

I really had a memorable time ;going for meetings with the committee members & the ideas, comments & decisions made along the way since the committee was formed. It has been an experience to learn so much: the people, the company and how everything works.

Thanks so much for the effort and energy spent in organizing this department function and Thanks for the friendship formed along the way. Hope that we are able to work together again!! We definitely formed a great team!!
