30 Jul 2007 - Monday :: Mind's Cafe with Colleagues
Tuesday, July 31, 2007
My first time going to a cafe that has food accompanied with games, it was a fun time, but some games are quite boring. I guess i'am not a board game/game type of person. It was really interactive I can say, shouting and screaming at each other of the mistakes and nonsense that was sprouting out of each other's mouth. It was a crazy sight for some of the games we played. I guess the last game that we played was fun, it's like charades.

Then it was 'daohui' time at the infamous Selegie Soya Bean, i guess everyone who is around the vincinity will definitely drop by for some 'supper' of drinks and 'you tao'. N Monday just went by like that, 1 day down and 4 more to go before the weekends!! Wohoo....

Their Signature Brownie with Ice-cream : it was really tasty, and this kept me busy while the rest were busy playing a game that I didnt understand at all... :P

29 July 2007 - Sunday :: Update last week's Activities
Sunday, July 29, 2007
It was a busy weekend, with Friday going to JB and Sunday going to Batam. I can say it was fun, but pocket also burned a bit hole.

Heading to JB was just for fun, just wanted to get some stuffs and to have ba ku teh and seafood recommended by a friend. It was just eating and just adding some financial dollars to the RM economy.

Sunday's Batam trip was my 1st and it was an eye-opener. There was nothing much to shop and buy as the stuffs there are not very cheap either, at the same time, nothing caught my eye. Maybe the places i went wasn't that fantastic, but Iam sure the next time round, will look out for newer places to go.

Went for spa at WinSpa and it was great, I felt so clean and smooth after the 2hr treatment. Had the ginger spa which consists of ginger oil massage, then steam, ginger scrub (which really removed the dead skin on me) and last, a bubble bath soak. Plus the price tag that goes with it, was so much cheaper than in BBK. I truely enjoyed the spa session. Other than that, it was just going to the famous Mega Shopping center which really has nothing much other than it's famous doughnuts.

Still, I cant wait to go for another round of Batam visit.

7 July 2007 - Saturday :: Chelle's Wedding
Sunday, July 08, 2007
It started with a big downpour with heavy winds in the morning while i was preparing to go for a church wedding at St Teresa Church, Kampong Bahru at 9am. It was a little tough waking so early in the morning on a Saturday, but i got to go. It was a lovely church wedding with so meaningful words spoken during the sermon, Forgiveness. GOLF - God, Others, Love, Forgiveness.

After the church wedding, headed to VivoCity for shopping. Just felt i didnt shop much and still have some items not bought yet. And finally managed to get a pair of jeans from Mango at 50% discount. Another item off the shopping list.

Went to Sand house after our shopping, rest and then it was time for the dinner at Park Hotel at Orchard. It was a real fun time as we sat with our classmates frm CJC, such a long time since we all last met. After JC life, it was separate lives for most of us, didnt really do any catching up as i guess there wasnt anyone to organize any gatherings. Most of the time was laughing, cracking jokes, getting high on the nonsense checking out the hot girls at the dinner. ( we ladies had no choice but to join in) Lucky we were sitting at the back of the ballroom, if we were in the middle or front, we will be stealing the attention away from Chelle. (sorry chelle! Hehe)

Really enjoyed and had so much fun for my 1st wedding ceremony and dinner, for this date 070707 is something that i will always remember.

* Thanks for inviting and sharing your wedding day!

To add on to the events that happen on 070707, i had a very bad fall that accompanied with a big bruise in the morning due to the wet floor. I fell hard on the edge of the stairs, guess the floor was really damn slippery and i didnt take notice of it. 1st time having such a bad fall and bruise.
